Emacs Sword

Description

Emacs Sword was developed as a sort of a replacement/alternative for E-Sword for our own personal use. It was designed and developed to closely integrate with Emacs. It has a relatively simple syntax for inserting verses, definitions, and links to your org notes.
Also distributed with Emacs Sword are the King James Version of the Bible, along with KJV+ and Strong's Greek and Hebrew, all in Org Mode format. Other key features include automatic spell checking of book names by Levenshtein Distance, multiple different search options with more to come, and Treemacs integration (YMMV).

Installation

Emacs is the only known prerequisite. Everything else Emacs Sword needs should be built in to Emacs (e.g. Org mode). Installation can be done either manually by downloading a package directly from the repository. Alternatively, the repository can be added to your package.el configuration with

(add-to-list 'package-archives
  '("MalanderEngineering" . "https://malanderengineering.com/packages/")
  t)

and install it from your favourite package manager (package.el, straight.el, etc).
Documentation (in the form of the html-ized org babel source file) can be found at
